The Genos Model of Employee Engagement
Employee engagement is the collective level of intellectual and emotional commitment employees have toward their work and organization. It is measured empirically by asking employees to indicate the extent to which they demonstrate a variety of value creating behaviors. The Genos Model of Employee Engagement focuses on four specific behaviors:
- Praise: The degree to which employees praise their organization
- Perform: The degree to which people perform over and above what is expected
- Persist: The degree to which people persist in the face of adversity
- Perfect: The degree to which people seek perfection in what they do
